Hello friends!! Over the past few weeks, Arturo and I have been thinking about the idea of Couple's Mini Sessions. We absolutely adore photographing couples and the love they share. So often a couple may think they'll only need a photographer if they're engaged, getting married or celebrating an anniversary. While those are all totally valid reasons to hire a professional photographer, today's post was written to encourage you to celebrate the in-between moments of your relationship. Maybe you two just found out your family is going to be growing, or you just want to remember how your life looked together at this particular point in time. Plus, it's always nice to have updated photographs of you both around your home! Still wondering why you should hire a professional photographer to take photos of you two? Read my blog post, 4 Everyday Reasons to Book a Couple's Portrait Session.
Aside from the fact that we love working together on each of our engagement sessions and wedding days, Arturo and I are big believers in celebrating life every single day, no matter how big or small whatever it is you're celebrating. Because of this, we've decided to offer Couple's Mini Sessions! Whether you're celebrating an anniversary or just everyday life together, our mini sessions allow us to document your life and love as it looks today.
The Couple's Mini Sessions are $250 and include the following:
* A 30-minute session at the location of your choice

When Amanda and Kyle mentioned that they wanted to have their engagement photos taken during the holiday season with wondrous lights and decor surrounding them, who were Arturo and I to argue?! We met up with Kyle and Amanda in Downtown Westport, Connecticut which is quaintly decorated for Christmas. It was the perfect setting for our last session of 2018!
We had the beach and the park to ourselves during Dana and Tom’s engagement session, enjoying the beautiful coastal views and the Manhattan skyline in the distance. They also brought along their sweet pup, Dagger, to join them in a few photos, and even battled the chilly sand as they walked along the beach barefoot as the sun started to really shine!
While vacationing in France, Rachel and Marc visited a small village called Eze. It was here that Marc popped the question on a beautiful mountainside with a stone that has now been in Rachel's family for 4 generations!
The joy that Felicia and Dave share is absolutely contagious! I adored that they chose to do their engagement session at the cascades of Lake Mohegan which has such special meaning to them!
While vacationing in Bermuda, Sarah and Shawn took a cab to John Smith's Bay one evening, where Shawn proposed at sunset! Even more to Sarah’s surprise, he arranged for a local photographer to take some photos so the two could share the moment with their families!
Though Kevin and Kate officially met while studying abroad in London, they both attended the University of Connecticut in Storrs, CT, which made for the perfect spot for their engagement session!
Even with the chilly autumn winds that evening, these two didn’t let their smiles leave their faces! We had the most perfect golden glow during their session, which only added to the joy and radiance Mariah and Alexi share.
Jamie and Taylor had no problem getting cuddled up in front of our cameras during their Waveny Park engagement session! Sun, clouds, rain, and some pretty strong winds all made appearances within the one hour that their engagement session took place. Despite the crazy weather, Jamie and Taylor ROCKED their portrait time!
As Stephanie walked along the beach with Will, they came across a heart drawn in the sand surrounded by flowers. Totally mesmerized by what she saw, Steph didn’t even think it was a proposal setup, let alone her own! As she turned toward Will, there he was down on one knee with a big smile on his face and said, “Will you marry me?”
One day after work, Kaitlyn came home to a path of rose petals leading her into the living room. Her eyes followed the petals to Nick standing there with candles lit and photos of the two of them hanging on the wall behind him. It was in that moment that he got down on one knee and asked her to marry him!
