Hello friends!! Over the past few weeks, Arturo and I have been thinking about the idea of Couple's Mini Sessions. We absolutely adore photographing couples and the love they share. So often a couple may think they'll only need a photographer if they're engaged, getting married or celebrating an anniversary. While those are all totally valid reasons to hire a professional photographer, today's post was written to encourage you to celebrate the in-between moments of your relationship. Maybe you two just found out your family is going to be growing, or you just want to remember how your life looked together at this particular point in time. Plus, it's always nice to have updated photographs of you both around your home! Still wondering why you should hire a professional photographer to take photos of you two? Read my blog post, 4 Everyday Reasons to Book a Couple's Portrait Session.
Aside from the fact that we love working together on each of our engagement sessions and wedding days, Arturo and I are big believers in celebrating life every single day, no matter how big or small whatever it is you're celebrating. Because of this, we've decided to offer Couple's Mini Sessions! Whether you're celebrating an anniversary or just everyday life together, our mini sessions allow us to document your life and love as it looks today.
The Couple's Mini Sessions are $250 and include the following:
* A 30-minute session at the location of your choice

Chris and Jen’s Twin Brooks Park engagement session took place during the peak of fall foliage! The most wonderful golden light shined down into the park, perfectly illuminating the autumn trees for portraits!
For a little while now, I had been hoping to one day have the chance to photograph a couple’s engagement or wedding portraits on a boat. As we were planning the details of their session a few months back, Heather and Josh made my photography dreams come true when they told me they wanted engagement photos at the marina where they had their boat!
I had so much fun spending time with Rebecca and Fred during their engagement session at Harbor Point in Stamford, Connecticut! It was an overcast evening, but that made the colors in their portraits absolutely pop (so don't be afraid of those cloudy wedding days, friends)!
Though I’ve photographed engagement sessions at Tod’s Point in the past, Craig and Rachel brought me to another area of the park that I had yet to visit! Despite the muggy heat we had that evening on the official first day of autumn, we did luck out with some beautiful golden hour light and front row seats to a dreamy sunset!
Emily and Chip have spent many weekends at Sasco Beach over the course of their relationship, and I love that they chose this sentimental spot to have their engagement photos taken! That day we had some beautiful fall weather and dreamy golden hour light to go with it. The soft glow of the evening sunlight added just the right touch of romance to Chip and Emily’s engagement portraits!
We had beautiful autumn weather and the most perfect golden hour glow for Alyssa and Todd’s engagement session. The cool breeze flowed passed us as we walked along the water chatting about plans for their wedding upcoming wedding day!
On the evening of Nicole and Michael’s engagement session, we had the most beautiful glow as the sunlight shined through the trees. It added the perfect touch of romance to their portraits!
During the span of Melissa and Jamie’s engagement session, we had wind, gray skies, drizzle, sunshine, and sun showers, all of which played a beautiful part in their photos. Our evening ended with a stunning double rainbow arched across the Connecticut River!
Arturo and I spent a magical evening among the rows of grapevines with Britt and Kate, chatting about their plans for their upcoming wedding this winter. The four of us shared plenty of laughs that evening; Arturo and I left the vineyard that evening with such full hearts!
We met Michelle and John for the first time at their New York City engagement session in the West Village. I loved that they chose this location in Greenwich Village because of the special meaning it had to them… it was the place where they shared their first apartment together!
