Hello friends!! Over the past few weeks, Arturo and I have been thinking about the idea of Couple's Mini Sessions. We absolutely adore photographing couples and the love they share. So often a couple may think they'll only need a photographer if they're engaged, getting married or celebrating an anniversary. While those are all totally valid reasons to hire a professional photographer, today's post was written to encourage you to celebrate the in-between moments of your relationship. Maybe you two just found out your family is going to be growing, or you just want to remember how your life looked together at this particular point in time. Plus, it's always nice to have updated photographs of you both around your home! Still wondering why you should hire a professional photographer to take photos of you two? Read my blog post, 4 Everyday Reasons to Book a Couple's Portrait Session.
Aside from the fact that we love working together on each of our engagement sessions and wedding days, Arturo and I are big believers in celebrating life every single day, no matter how big or small whatever it is you're celebrating. Because of this, we've decided to offer Couple's Mini Sessions! Whether you're celebrating an anniversary or just everyday life together, our mini sessions allow us to document your life and love as it looks today.
The Couple's Mini Sessions are $250 and include the following:
* A 30-minute session at the location of your choice

Arturo and I loved photographing these two dear friends of ours during an anniversary session at The Morikami Museum & Japanese Gardens in Delray Beach, Florida! Norman and Jacqui will be celebrating 20 years of marriage later this year!! About 30 years ago, they met in one of their high school study halls and fell in love. Let me tell you, they're still just as crazy about each other as the day they met!
Almost six years ago, Amberly and Cedric were married in Miami in front of an intimate group of friends and family. While I had two seasons of wedding photography experience at that point, their wedding was the very first one I ever photographed on my own. While Arturo and I were away on an impromptu trip to South Florida, we took some time to capture the love and bond Amberly and Cedric share during a sweet anniversary session!
Meghan and Mike met a few years back at a local pub in the Black Rock section of Bridgeport, Connecticut. They were friends for about two years before they started dating, which created the strong foundation for the love they now share! I was so excited to photograph them for their engagement session at Saint Mary's By The Sea! As I photographed Meghan and Mike, I could see what a wonderful match they truly are. They compliment each other's personalities so well and are so at ease when they're together!
Tori and Matt have been together for over nine years and are getting married on their 10th anniversary!!! Arturo and I photographed these two during the first snowfall of the season and it was an absolute DREAM! We had the entire park to ourselves, which felt like a winter wonderland. It was perfectly romantic in every way!
Less than 24 hours after Brandon proposed, Amanda sent me the sweetest message filled with excitement asking us to be her wedding photographers! Amanda is a classmate of mine from college when we were both photography majors, so to say I was doubly honored she wanted Arturo and me to document their big day had us over the moon! I'm so thankful that we had the engagement session to get to know Brandon a little more and see how perfect he is for Amanda in so many respects. They compliment each other in more ways than I can count, and it's absolutely beautiful!
About a year ago, Chris proposed to Rose after the two spent the day at her favorite local aquarium. Before heading back to the car, Rose and Chris went for a little walk along the nearby river. Chris got down on one knee to pop the question, but Rose didn't notice and kept walking! When she realized he wasn't next to her (she had walked at least 25 yards ahead of him!), Rose turned around, saw Chris on one knee and ran back in his direction! As if perfectly timed for a movie script, it then gently began to snow!!
Melissa and Andy met back in 2010 when they were both volunteer EMTs in their hometown of Goshen, Connecticut. Last year in mid-July, Andy contacted me looking for a photographer to capture his wedding proposal to Melissa at Cranbury Park in Norwalk. Shortly before they arrived at the park, Andy had told Melissa that he'd hired a portrait photographer for a photo session since they didn't have any professional photos of the two of them. About halfway through their session, Andy got down on one knee, pulled out a beautiful engagement ring and asked her to be his wife!
Earlier this year, Nika and Javier were on vacation in North Carolina together, enjoying the fresh spring air from the warmth the hot tub at their vacation home. Javier told Nika he needed to go inside and get something, so she said she'd go with him. Thinking they were finished with the hot tub for the day, Nika went into the closest to grab a sweatshirt to block the chill of the early spring air. As she turned to return outside, there was Javier, down on one knee exclaiming, " I can't wait," holding a box with a beautiful engagement ring!
We had the most beautiful golden hour sunset at Emelia and Jon's Walnut Beach engagement session in Milford, Connecticut on Sunday!! The crisp October breeze gently blew against our faces as Arturo and I photographed the future Mr. & Mrs. Compared to the crazy humidity we'd had the weekend before, the four of us were so happy to finally be able to enjoy the autumn weather with sand between our toes at the beach!
In early July, Peter proposed with the most beautiful diamond ring from Ken & Dana Design on the tennis court where Alexa used to go to camp as a child! I don't even think she had made it to the 24-hour mark of being engaged when she reached out to me asking about my availability to photograph her engagement session. Alexa explained that she had been following my work for a few years on Facebook, and knew long before Pete ever proposed that she wanted us to photograph the two of them at Tod's Point in Greenwich, Connecticut. To say I was completely honored would be an understatement!
