I’m Shaina, a brand and wedding photographer based in Fairfield County, Connecticut. My career began over 15 years ago in my sophomore year of college while I was working toward my Bachelor of Arts in Photography. As I explored different photography industries, my heart always turned back to working with small business owners and couples planning their weddings!
What makes this career of mine even sweeter is that I get to run this business alongside my best friend and husband, Arturo. We serve couples through engagement sessions, anniversary sessions, and wedding photography, as well as other family milestones. We believe in getting to know our couples from the start to make you feel fully comfortable in front of our cameras by the time your wedding day arrives. We know you want to ensure the details of your day are photographed seamlessly. You want organized, detail-oriented photographers who genuinely care about you and your story. We believe in capturing your biggest moments so you can settle into your wedding celebration and be fully present for the moments that are all yours. If you feel completely at ease throughout the day, then we know we’ve done our jobs well!
When we’re not photographing our couples’ love, you can find us curled up on the couch watching some of our favorite sitcoms, exploring hidden gems in New York City, or planning our next trip to Hawaii.
We enjoy salsa dancing together. We’re definitely not pros, but a good dance in the kitchen is always fun!
Hawaii is our favorite vacation destination. We honeymooned there, renewed our vows there, and even dream of living there one day. Parasailing, helicopter rides, and swimming with the manta rays are just a few of the adventures we’ve enjoyed during our time on these beautiful islands!
Big families don’t scare us… in fact, we’re used to them! We both come from large families and can’t get enough of exciting gatherings when we see our loved ones.
We’re all about having fun and enjoying each day that life gives us. There’s always something to celebrate!
There was an epic rainstorm on our wedding day that felt more like a monsoon. Even though things didn’t go exactly as we had envisioned them to be, at the end of the day we were married and that’s what mattered most!
