Walnut Beach Engagement Session in Milford, CT | Vanessa & Jairo
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, winter weddings and engagement sessions are absolutely beautiful!! The soft winter light paired with the right surroundings make for a perfectly romantic setting, even though the grass isn’t green and there aren’t any flowers in bloom! Vanessa and Jairo’s engagement session at Walnut Beach in Milford, Connecticut was just that; beautifully romantic with that winter golden hour glow. Being at a New England beach in the middle of February is no small feat, but these two rocked every minute of their engagement session! Jairo and Vanessa are such a wonderful couple, and complement each other in so many ways.
We walked along the beach’s pier and boardwalk, stopping at some of my favorite spots along the way for photos. As the sun continued to set behind the clouds we lucked out with the most beautiful glow, much of which Arturo and I took full advantage! Our evening ended at the rock jetty that separates Walnut Beach and Silver Sands State Park, where we snapped some silhouette portraits of the soon-to-be Mr. & Mrs. with the sunset behind them.
Jairo proposed to Vanessa on Christmas Eve in front of her whole family, and next month they’re tying the knot! They’re getting married in late March at The Woodwinds in Branford, Connecticut, and we know their day is going to be a fantastic celebration!
