A SUMMER ENGAGEMENT SESSION AT WAINWRIGHT HOUSE

Farrell and Tyler’s engagement session at Wainwright House in Rye, New York was a summer dream! I love jaw-dropping historical architecture, lush gardens, and views of the water for our couples’ portraits, and this spot never disappoints! It had been a few years since I was at the incredible Wainwright House, and it was so good to be back.

It was a humid evening, but Mother Nature gave us beautiful golden hour light to work with. The sunlight glistened off the Hudson River, serving as a beautiful backdrop to Tyler and Farrell’s engagement photos. The couple brought along their adorable pup, Eastman, to hop in a few photos with them, who was easily motivated to sit for portraits by looking at a piece of cheese held above my camera. It was one of the best hacks we’ve seen yet for getting a dog to pose for photos!

Farrell and Tyler were naturals in front of our cameras, and are a beautiful complement to each other. Arturo and I loved getting to know them as we walked around the grounds of Wainwright House and heard all about their wedding plans. They’ve put together a stellar vendor team for what is sure to be a wonderfully timeless fall wedding. These two are getting married next September at Wainwright House, and we cannot wait for their day to arrive! Congratulations Farrell and Tyler!
