The Mansion at Glen Cove Wedding in Glen Cove, NY | Juliana & Nick

A WEDDING AT THE MANSION AT GLEN COVE

In early 2024, I was so excited to receive Juliana and Nick’s wedding inquiry after they’d seen Arturo and me in action while photographing their cousin’s wedding in the summer of 2023. After a lovely chat about their wedding day, they quickly secured their own date with us, and we photographed their spring engagement session at Waveny Park last March! We loved our time with them that day and knew it was a beautiful indication of what their wedding day would hold.

There’s something magical about a summer wedding on Long Island, especially when it takes place at a historic estate like The Mansion at Glen Cove. Juliana and Nick’s July celebration was the perfect blend of elegance, emotion, and vibrant summer color. Their day unfolded like a timeless love story, from quiet, heartfelt moments to joyous celebration among friends and family!

As a wedding photographer based in historic Connecticut, I’m always drawn to venues with character and charm, and The Mansion at Glen Cove offered the most romantic backdrop for the start of Juliana and Nick’s wedding day. They both got ready on-site, surrounded by their closest family and friends. The atmosphere buzzed with anticipation, laughter echoed as love letters were exchanged, and final touches were made against the backdrop of antique mirrors and natural window light that poured into every corner.

Once ready, we made our way to the church for their ceremony. Nick’s expression when he saw her said it all as Juliana walked down the aisle in her elegant gown: a moment full of love, joy, and a hint of awe. After they exchanged vows, we lingered outside the church to take advantage of its stunning architecture. The classic stone facade, arched doorways, and lush surroundings gave us the perfect setting for some timeless portraits of the newlyweds and their loved ones!

Back at The Mansion at Glen Cove, we snapped more portraits of the bride and groom before they joined their guests for the reception. The couple’s vibrant color palette—shades of orange, pink, and yellow—brought warmth and energy to the details of the day. From the florals to the stationery, everything was thoughtfully curated and full of personality. Nick and Juliana’s wedding celebration was nothing short of joyful. From emotional toasts to a packed dance floor, it was clear that these newlyweds are deeply loved by their people.

Congratulations Juliana and Nick! Wishing you many happy years ahead!
