Summer wedding celebrations on the Connecticut coast always have that quintessential New England charm: the warm light, the coastal breeze, and that effortless feeling that the day could stretch on forever. When you add a couple as fun, genuine, and completely in love as Becca and Matt, you get a wedding day that feels every bit as special as it looks. Their wedding at Delamar Mystic in Mystic, Connecticut was the perfect way to end our summer wedding season!

Matt and Becca’s Delamar Mystic wedding was everything we love about a classic New England celebration. Their August wedding day arrived bright and sunny, but without the typical summertime heat. Instead, a gentle breeze kept everyone comfortable as family and friends gathered to celebrate these two. From the very beginning, it was obvious that Becca and Matt were going to make this day their own.

The two of them have the kind of chemistry that makes photographing a wedding feel effortless. They’re playful, comfortable together, and their personalities complement each other wonderfully. There was plenty of laughter throughout the day, along with those quieter moments where they could simply pause and take each other in.

The classic setting of Delamar Mystic provided the perfect backdrop. Elegant details, coastal surroundings, and timeless architecture came together beautifully with their black-tie style, creating photographs that feel polished without ever feeling overly formal.

The bride and groom were married in a beautiful, heartfelt ceremony on the back lawn of Delamar Mystic. Once they exchanged their vows and shared their first kiss, the newlyweds invited us to hop on a boat with them for a cruise on the Mystic River.

The fun didn't stop there! For all of the elegance and romance woven throughout their day, Becca and Matt never took themselves too seriously. There was laughter. There was personality. There were plenty of candid moments. Most of all, there was a whole lot of joy.

That balance is what made their wedding so memorable: sophisticated without feeling stuffy, beautiful without feeling overly curated, and romantic while still feeling completely like them. As Connecticut wedding photographers, these are the wedding days Arturo and I love most: the ones where the couple can forget about the camera, be fully present, and let their relationship take center stage.

Becca and Matt, thank you for letting us be part of such an incredible celebration. What a beautiful way to close out the summer, and what an unforgettable Delamar Mystic wedding to end this part of our season on!
