A FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHY SESSION AT WAVENY HOUSE

There’s nothing quite like fall in New England; the crisp air, golden light, and colorful foliage make it the perfect time for family photos. This recent Waveny Park family photography session was full of laughter, playfulness, and those heartwarming moments.

This is not the first time Elle, Brian, and Cameron have been in front of my camera! Arturo and I photographed Brian and Elle’s engagement session at Yale University in 2022, and then their beautiful spring wedding day in 2024. We absolutely adore this family, and I loved seeing them again this year!

Waveny House is one of my favorite portrait locations in Fairfield County. With its charming architecture, wide-open lawns, and stunning early autumn colors, it provided the ideal backdrop for a relaxed and joyful session. From the very beginning, the energy was easygoing and fun, exactly the kind of atmosphere that allows families to simply be themselves in front of the camera.

One of the sweetest moments of the day came when Cameron was wrapped up in hugs and tickles from his parents. His laughter echoed through the park, and that big, genuine grin we captured is one I know his parents will treasure for years to come. It’s the candid, love-filled moments that truly make each session unique!
