Spring Wedding at The Inn at Longshore in Westport, CT | Savannah & Damiano

A SPRING WEDDING AT THE INN AT LONGSHORE

Springtime is a magical season for weddings, and Savannah and Damiano’s elegant coastal wedding at The Inn at Longshore in Westport, Connecticut was no exception. Their wedding celebration brought us to Longshore for the third time in less than two weeks, which we certainly didn’t mind! Arturo and I had a wonderful time with these two last October at their engagement session at Gallaher Mansion, and from that point on we knew their wedding was going to be a lovely one!

We began our day with Dam as he and his groomsmen got ready, and later made our way to The Inn at Longshore to photograph Savannah as she prepared for the festivities ahead with her bridesmaids. The atmosphere was relaxed and joyous, with laughter and smiles all around. She wore a beautiful gown with an intricate bridal belt and a flowing train.

After Damiano and Savannah shared a romantic first look, we photographed their portraits on the back lawn of Longshore as the water served as a beautiful backdrop to photos. It was an overcast and windy day, but these two were all smiles! The vibrant flowers in the bouquets popped well against the soft, romantic light of the afternoon.

Due to the weather, their wedding ceremony also took place inside the main ballroom of The Inn at Longshore. The aisle was lined with white rose petals and the arch was adorned with stunning floral arrangements, adding a touch of natural elegance to the scene. As Savannah walked down the aisle, accompanied by her father, Dam couldn't take his eyes off his stunning bride. The couple exchanged heartfelt vows and rings in front of their family and friends before officially being pronounced husband and wife!

We may not have had any sunshine that evening, but the light was still absolute perfection so Arturo and I were sure to take advantage of the opportunity to capture some stunning shots of the newlyweds before sending them off to enjoy their cocktail hour. As the night progressed, the dance floor was filled with energy and joy, while everyone celebrated Damiano and Savannah’s union. It was a truly magical day, filled with love, laughter, and coastal charm!

THE LOVE STORY

Damiano and Savannah met in their 9th Grade science class. They quickly became close friends, which turned into a romantic relationship during their junior year of high school. Savannah and Damiano later attended UConn together and moved into their first apartment in 2017. In late 2021, they got engaged, and after 14 years together, they’re finally married!

Congratulations Savannah and Dam! Wishing you both a lifetime of joy and happiness together!
