A CHIC CONNECTICUT SUMMER WEDDING AT THE INN AT LONGSHORE

Nicole and Kyle planned a classic and chic New England summer wedding at The Inn at Longshore in Westport, Connecticut. From start to finish, Arturo and I enjoyed every minute of working with these two and their families! Each moment of their day was sweet and joyful; as wedding photographers, there’s nothing better than when our couples are beaming with smiles from ear to ear on their wedding day!

I first chatted with Kyle and Nicole about their wedding at the Inn at Longshore last May. Some of my favorite celebrations to photograph are Connecticut coastal weddings with a timeless style, and their vision was just that! They certainly pulled it off to perfection and included plenty of personal details to go with it.

After getting ready for the festivities ahead, Nicole and Kyle shared a first look along the water. They were both SO excited to see each other, and it definitely showed! Afterward, they exchanged heartfelt vows with each other before we began their portraits.

Kyle and Nicole’s wedding party was an equally fun group to work with! Nicole’s two best friends were her maids of honor; Kyle is a triplet so his brothers were his best men. Each of them smiled and laughed alongside the bride and groom during our portrait time with them. They were up for any prompts we threw their way, making for some of our favorite wedding party photos we’ve ever taken!

The wedding ceremony took place on the back lawn of the Inn at Longshore along the water. It may have been hot, but luckily the humidity was almost non-existent that day as the sea breeze rolled in every few minutes. After a few readings from friends and family, as well as their ring exchange, Nicole and Kyle shared their first kiss as husband and wife!

The bride and groom were celebrated all afternoon by their guests with beautiful toasts and endless dancing. Kyle and Nicole are truly a perfect match, and what an honor it was to photograph the first day of their marriage!

THE LOVE STORY

Nicole and Kyle met on the 4th of July back in 2014 at a local bar in Stamford, Connecticut. They had their first date soon after at a nearby restaurant which lasted for four hours! The two slowly got to know each other and finally decided to make things official that September at a Luke Bryan concert. Over the years, Nicole and Kyle fell in love while discovering their love of travel, off-roading Jeep adventures, hiking, and exploring new places. These sweethearts truly are the best of friends!

Congratulations Nicole and Kyle! Cheers to many wonderful years ahead!

Nicole was a beautiful bride!

Kyle looked dapper as ever!

After their first look, Kyle and Nicole exchanged heartfelt vows. It was certainly one of the sweetest moments of the day!

Look at those smiles!

We loved this fun and easy-going wedding party!

They’re MARRIED!

Nicole and Kyle love to go off-roading in their Jeep, so it doubled as their getaway car at the end of their celebration!
