The Knot Best of Weddings 2024 Award
Much to our delight, January is typically a quieter month for us. It’s a time for rest, while Arturo and I spend a few hours here and there each week working on many of the behind-the-scenes tasks it takes to run our business. We’ve been editing some December wedding galleries, prepping our winter blog content, and getting ready for some upcoming winter engagement sessions next month.
While I try not to look at my inbox over the weekend, I opened an email on Friday evening to see that Shaina Lee Photography was named a winner of The Knot Best of Weddings 2024! We’ve been honored to receive this award every year since 2019 thanks to our incredible couples, as this accolade represents the top local wedding professionals.
Arturo and I are grateful for our clients who took the time to write about their experience in working with us. 2023 was quite a year for Shaina Lee Photography in so many wonderful ways! It was our busiest year with a jam-packed calendar pretty much from start to finish. 31 weddings. 20 engagement sessions. 10 family sessions. Whew!
I opened up my email last week to find out that Shaina Lee Photography is a winner of The Knot Best of Weddings 2023! This is our 5th year in a row to win, and it’s all thanks to our amazing couples. The Knot Best of Weddings is an accolade representing the highest-rated wedding professionals as reviewed by real couples!
I can’t believe the new year is here and 2022 has officially come to a close. Last year was a wild one for sure, filled with growth, learning opportunities, and plenty of excitement for Shaina Lee Photography!
Last week, Arturo and I received the news that Shaina Lee Photography had been selected as a 2022 winner in The Knot Best of Weddings! This award is always an honor to receive because it comes from the glowing reviews of our past couples. Our win this year is extra special for Arturo and me because we've also been inducted into The Knot Best of Weddings Hall of Fame!
Just like that, another wedding season is in the books! Arturo and I felt proud of ourselves when we made it through 2020, but little did we know what 2021 had in store. For many wedding vendors, this year was like having two wedding seasons in one, which made for our busiest year in the history of Shaina Lee Photography.
As our business has grown over the past couple of years, I’ve gone back and forth on the idea of investing in hiring a branding and website designer. Arturo and I know the importance of brand recognition and having a fine-tuned website that works for you online 24/7. Despite the pandemic, the last year showed me how Shaina Lee Photography continued to grow. I finally decided we needed a rebrand and newly designed website to highlight that increase in business and the improvement of our services!
It’s been a few years since I did a “Best Of” blog post, so it seemed like a better time than ever to share the highlights of an otherwise challenging year. Enjoy a few of my favorite days from 2020!
2020 has been one heck of a year, am I right? Despite many postponements, we were still able to end our season having photographed 25 elopements, micro weddings, and intimate celebrations. To top it off, last month Arturo and I received the email that we had won The Knot Best of Weddings 2021 Award. After what has been our most challenging year, we are incredibly appreciative to receive this award for the third consecutive year!
2025 was a year filled with joy, trust, connection, and moments that reminded us (again and again) how incredibly lucky we are to do this work!
