Couple's Mini Sessions

Over the past few weeks, Arturo and I have been thinking about the idea of Couple's Mini Sessions. So often a couple may think they'll only need a photographer if they're engaged, getting married or celebrating an anniversary. While those are all totally valid reasons to hire a professional photographer, today's post was written to encourage you to celebrate the in-between moments of your relationship!

Waveny Park Engagement Session in New Canaan, CT | Julia & Matt

The Golden Hour is a photographer's favorite time of day. The light is beyond dreamy and oh-so-romantic! Luckily for Julia and Matt, the lighting was particularly beautiful the evening of their engagement session! Arturo and I loved walking the beautiful grounds of Waveny Park in New Canaan with them, taking photos of these two lovebirds during the last hour of sunlight!

From the first time we met, Arturo and I connected immediately with Katie and Ryan! We adored their outgoing personalities and zest for life (we may or may not have been a little biased because they mentioned the possibility of a donut wall at their wedding next year!). When Katie told me they wanted to have their engagement photos taken at Chamard Vineyards in Clinton, Connecticut, I was ecstatic!

The Studio

For those of you who haven't had a chance to drop by the studio yet, I'm so happy to finally be taking you on a photo tour! Our studio is located at 305 Knowlton Street in Bridgeport, Connecticut. 305 Knowlton is an old industrial building with amazing character which was once home to the Armstrong Manufacturing Company in the 1800s. Today it is home to about 25 artist studios and small businesses!
