Harbor Point Engagement Session in Stamford, CT | Nika & Javier

Earlier this year, Nika and Javier were on vacation in North Carolina together, enjoying the fresh spring air from the warmth the hot tub at their vacation home. Javier told Nika he needed to go inside and get something, so she said she'd go with him. Thinking they were finished with the hot tub for the day, Nika went into the closest to grab a sweatshirt to block the chill of the early spring air. As she turned to return outside, there was Javier, down on one knee exclaiming, " I can't wait," holding a box with a beautiful engagement ring!

Walnut Beach Engagement Session in Milford, CT | Emelia & Jon

We had the most beautiful golden hour sunset at Emelia and Jon's Walnut Beach engagement session in Milford, Connecticut on Sunday!! The crisp October breeze gently blew against our faces as Arturo and I photographed the future Mr. & Mrs. Compared to the crazy humidity we'd had the weekend before, the four of us were so happy to finally be able to enjoy the autumn weather with sand between our toes at the beach!

Tod's Point Engagement Session in Greenwich, CT | Alexa & Peter

In early July, Peter proposed with the most beautiful diamond ring from Ken & Dana Design on the tennis court where Alexa used to go to camp as a child! I don't even think she had made it to the 24-hour mark of being engaged when she reached out to me asking about my availability to photograph her engagement session. Alexa explained that she had been following my work for a few years on Facebook, and knew long before Pete ever proposed that she wanted us to photograph the two of them at Tod's Point in Greenwich, Connecticut. To say I was completely honored would be an understatement!

Pequot Yacht Club Engagement Session in Southport, CT | Meagan & Alan

Meagan and Alan met nearby at the Pequot Yacht Club in Southport and are getting married at The Inn at Longshore in Westport next year. We had originally planned to take their engagement photos at Harkness Memorial State Park, but it was unfortunately closed on the day of their session due to a heavy rainstorm the night before. Being eager to keep their engagement session date, it only made sense that Southport was their backup location!

In-Home Engagement Session in Fishkill, NY | Kelley & Jason

As soon as I heard Kelley and Jason's proposal story when they inquired about wedding photography last November, I knew we were going to be great friends! Kelley and Jason are sweet, loving and oh so outgoing! They invited Arturo and me to their home in Fishkill, New York, nestled in the heart of the Hudson Valley. This is the first home that the future Mr. & Mrs. purchased together, so they decided to go a bit off the beaten path and have an in-home engagement session!

Charmard Vineyards Wedding Proposal in Clinton, CT | Kara & Landon

After creating a detailed plan, Landon decided Charmard Vineyards in Clinton, Connecticut would be an ideal place for him to propose to his girlfriend, Kara. He was totally spot on! Chamard has beautiful grounds, a rustic charm inspired by the Napa Valley and countless rows of grapevines to walk through for romantic portraits. It's definitely one of my favorite venues to photograph my clients at!
