Around this time last year, I photographed Rebecca for the first time at Jennings Beach in Fairfield, Connecticut for her 2017 lifestyle headshots! Since then, we've worked together several times, and I've become so thankful for Rebecca's friendship! For those of you who don't know, Rebecca is the owner and designer behind The Pink Orange, a company which creates beautiful lifestyle, stationery, and home office products. When I received an email from Rebecca this summer about doing some updated headshots at Penfield Beach in Fairfield, I couldn't wait for her session!

We started our time together in the center of town before heading to the beach. All day the weather had been beautiful, but clouds starting forming overhead soon after our shoot began! We worked quickly and decided to head to the beach early to maximize our time there. Though it appeared the lifeguards were telling people to get out of the water due to the impending thunderstorm and sporadic flashes of lighting we could see in the distance, Rebecca and I took advantage of the fantastic light from the sun that was being diffused from the clouds (I'll almost always take an overcast day over a sunny day at the beach for portraits!)! As always, Rebecca rocked her time in front of my camera. She's constantly all smiles, which makes my job that much more fun and exciting! The rain began to fall just as we were finishing up her photo session, and the timing couldn't have been more perfect!
