Gallaher Mansion at Cranbury Park Engagement Session in Norwalk, CT | Sabrina & Anthony
Sabrina and Anthony spend a lot of time with their pups, Kimber and Bobby, at Cranbury Park in Norwalk, Connecticut, so it was a perfect spot to hold their engagement session! Anthony and Sabrina followed our Engagement Session Planning Guide to a T, and arrived to their session in the most wonderful coordinating outfits! Arturo and I always say the key to choosing your engagement session outfits is to coordinate, not match. We also advise our couples that there’s no such thing as being too dressed up for your engagement photos! After all, you’re investing in your photography and you want to look (and feel!) wonderful!
A CRANBURY PARK ENGAGEMENT SESSION
On the day of Anthony and Sabrina’s engagement session, the weather had been perfect! We had sunshine, blue skies, and there wasn’t a cloud in sight. Minutes before their session started, the clouds moved in but Arturo and I weren’t worried! From our own cloudy and rainy wedding day, we know that overcast skies mean BRIGHT pops of color in portraits. That’s exactly what Sabrina and Anthony’s engagement photos have!
Arturo and I loved spending time with these two and getting to hang out with them a bit. Anthony and Sabrina have such a beautiful love for each other, and we enjoyed getting to capture a small part of their love story in their engagement photos!
Normally when we’re at Cranbury Park for portrait sessions, we love being able to use the Gallaher Mansion estate that is on the grounds of the park. There was a wedding taking place at the estate that evening, but we were still able to use the pebble walkway lined with trees, as well as the enormous weeping willow tree near the entrance of the park. At the very end of their session, Kimber and Bobby joined us as Arturo and I snapped a few photos of this adorable family!
THE PROPOSAL STORY
Last winter, Anthony and Sabrina went to Mill River Park in Stamford, Connecticut to go ice skating at their seasonal rink. They had so much fun together and after went out to the walkway area when they finished skating. Anthony shared the sweetest words with Sabrina and asked her to marry him! Within seconds of his wedding proposal, all the holiday lights in the park turned on by pure luck in timing. It was an absolute magical moment!
These two are getting married next September at The Waterview in Monroe, Connecticut, and we cannot wait to see their day come to life! Congratulations Sabrina and Anthony!!
When did you know you'd found "the one"?
Sabrina: “I’ve always known!”
Anthony: “Since the first day we met.”
What's one thing you love about your partner?
Sabrina: “I can’t choose just one thing, I love everything about Anthony! How he gives his all in everything he does, how much he does for me and our dogs, how much our dogs love him, his silly laugh, his sky blue eyes… I could go on and on.”
Anthony: “I love that Sabrina has the biggest heart. She will do anything for anyone no matter what. She takes such good care of me and our dogs and I feel so lucky to have her.”
Besides getting married, what is one thing you're looking forward to on your wedding day?
Sabrina: “I’m looking forward to celebrating with all of our family and close friends, enjoying good food drinks, and getting our dance on!”
Anthony: “I’m looking forward to celebrating with family and friends, and also our first dance.”
What's one thing you're looking forward to about marriage?
Sabrina: “I’m looking forward to endless adventures with my best friend and our family (future and growing).”
Anthony: “I’m looking forward to starting a family!”
