Being a wedding photographer in the northeast can be quite humbling when we’re dealing with the (quite often) unpredictable weather of New England. We had some of the strongest winds we’ve seen this season and white-capped waves that crashed onto the shoreline. The sunlight glittered on the water, but only minutes after we started, it dipped behind some massive storm clouds. However, that left us with some of the most incredible cotton candy skies which made a stunning backdrop to Sam and Matt’s photos!

As the sun dipped down behind the clouds, we had the softest light to work with. Sailboats cruised by along the Hudson River, adding even more to the already magnificent view of the city from Liberty State Park!
