A PRIVATE RESIDENCE SUMMER WEDDING IN WEST HARTFORD
Where do I begin in describing the beauty of Jillian and Keith’s lovely summer wedding day?! They were married at their historic home in West Hartford, Connecticut among their closest family and friends. Keith and Jillian share the same love for Hawaii that Arturo and I do, and they wanted to bring the vibrant colors of the tropical islands into their elegant wedding celebration. Alyssa Jean Signature Events created a knock-out Hawaiian-inspired wedding design; the colorful florals were just one of the many elements that I absolutely loved about their day!
After getting ready for the day’s festivities, Keith and Jillian shared a sweet first look in front of their immaculate home. They each smiled from ear to ear as they embraced and felt the joy of what was to come later that day. Keith’s classic tux was a perfect complement to Jillian’s timeless Anne Barge bridal gown. From head to toe, their styles were flawless!
As the ceremony began, Jillian was escorted down the aisle by both of her parents. Once again, a smile beamed across her face as she looked around to see their loved ones surround her and Keith on one of the most wonderful days of their lives together. The bride and groom exchanged their vows and rings, and shared their first kiss as each of their guests clapped and cheered for the new Mr. & Mrs!
The golden hour that evening was simply breathtaking. It may have been a hot, humid New England day, but mother nature didn’t disappoint and gave us the most wonderful glow for Keith and Jillian’s last newlywed portraits! After dinner, the bride and groom shared their first dance, cut the cake, and danced the night away with their friends and family on the back terrace. It was truly a celebration to remember!
