The Wedding Experience
Congratulations! You're engaged and soon to be married, which means it's time to celebrate!
I have had the privilege of photographing some of the sweetest people, documenting their lives and sharing their stories. I am lucky to work with exciting, fun and authentic couples who are truly, madly, deeply in love! My favorite weddings include plenty of natural light, meaningful personal details, and a first look. I enjoy shooting at estates, vineyards, old mansions, venues along the New England coast and locations with plenty of outdoor space to bring the beauty of nature into your photographs.
Wedding Collections begin at $2900
Total wedding collections begin at $2900, all of which include two photographers for wedding day coverage, private online gallery, high resolution digital images and a complimentary engagement session. For intimate weddings and elopements, contact me and let's get a conversation started!
Let's Be Friends
My business is an extension of me, which is why I put my heart and soul into everything about your wedding day. I believe a wonderful photography experience starts long before I pick up my camera to photograph you! Such an experience is built upon a comfortable, fun and relaxed atmosphere. From the first time we correspond to the grandest (and tiniest) of moments on your big day, and even the time after your say your I Do's, please know that you will be taken care of! I truly cherish getting to know my clients, especially since we'll be spending your entire wedding day together! My goal is for us to build a genuine friendship, all while giving you a wonderful and exciting experience along the way.
Save That Date
My wedding day was one of the best days of my life, and having the opportunity to be a part of yours is something I'm incredibly thankful for! To book your wedding date with me, I’ll send you an online contract which you’ll be able to sign electronically. Once I’ve received your retainer payment and signed contract, you’ll officially be a Shaina Lee Couple!
The Engagement Session
Once you’ve booked with me, I’ll send you my Engagement Session Planning Guide, which covers everything from what to expect, location ideas, outfit inspiration and so. much. more. My couples always tell me how much they love having this guide to review in the time leading up to their session! Think of your engagement session as practice for your wedding day. It’s a fun hour that we’ll spend together catching up and chatting about your wedding day plans. You’ll become more familiar with how I work as a photographer, which will help you to establish a new level of trust with me. By the time your wedding day arrives, that trust re-emerges, which will help you feel much more relaxed in front of my camera! Your engagement photos will be delivered to you in a private online gallery with a print release, from which you’ll be able to download them directly to your computer. You’ll receive photographs sized for both print and web (because we both know you’ll want to share your favorite engagement session images online!).
Wedding Day Details
About six to eight weeks before your wedding date, I’ll send you a form to fill out regarding the details of your wedding day. Though it may seem like a novel of a questionnaire, I promise gathering as much information as possible helps me to build a photography timeline for your wedding day that helps me stay organized so I can capture the moments that are most important to you! In the event you’re working with a wedding planner or coordinator, I’ll work alongside them to create a final timeline that assists both the photography schedule and the schedule of the entire day. Timelines are essential so you have the dreamy, romantic portraits and high quality photographs to remember your wedding day by! Once I receive the responses to your questionnaire, we'll set up a time and date about a month or so before your wedding day to go over everything so we're all on the same page.
Time for the I Do's
After months of planning, your wedding day has arrived! This is the time for you to relax while enjoying the people around you who have come to celebrate this new season of your lives you’ll be starting together. Some of my favorite parts of my couples’ wedding days are photographing the details and romantic portraits! I'm so excited to get to know your families, best friends and those who have shaped you into the people you are today!
The Wedding Gallery
Once your final wedding photographs are edited, I’ll deliver them to you in another private online gallery, similar to the one from your engagement session. Since you’ll obviously have more images from your wedding day than your engagement session, I organize the images into folders from each part of the day. You’ll even have some of my favorites of the day delivered to you for web sharing!
Heirloom Wedding Albums
My heirloom wedding albums come from a top-quality lab in the industry that works strictly with professional photographers. If you choose a wedding collection with an album (which I believe all couples should have!), I’ll design it for you to tell the beautiful story of your wedding day through your photographs. I’ll then send you a PDF proof, which you’ll have the option of adding images and pages. Once you’ve approved the proof and chosen the color and cover material of your album (luscious leathers or luxurious linens), I’ll send the album off for production!
