How We Work & What to Expect

OUR PHILOSOPHY

We’re sure your mind is racing with all that needs to be planned. It’s all very exciting but it can also be somewhat overwhelming. You’re planning the day that you’ve been anticipating your whole life and yet you only get one shot at it! By the time you get the hang of it, the planning is over! Our goal as wedding photographers is to make this one aspect of the planning process simple. Photography is more than just images, it’s a real part of your day. Not only do you deserve beautiful images, you also deserve an amazing photographic experience. When our couples feel comfortable and relaxed in front of the camera, that results in genuine, joyful images! When we think back to our wedding day, we remember amazing memories... but most of the moments we remember really well are the instances that were captured in our pictures. They are priceless to us. Our photographer made us feel so incredibly comfortable and for the first time, we experienced what it feels like to be in front of the camera as a couple on their wedding day. Your wedding day is an experience from beginning to end and your photography is a huge part of that experience… shouldn’t it be fun, enjoyable, and natural? We think so! Our goal is to not only capture memories for our clients, it’s to create an experience that they will never forget.

Let’s Be Friends
One way we ensure that our couples enjoy the BEST photographic experience possible is through forming a relationship with them. We try our best to make sure that all of our couples are the perfect fit for us before officially booking. They should connect with their photographer, trust their photographer, and be EXCITED about the whole process with them!

Save The Date
Our wedding day was one of the best days of our lives, and having the opportunity to be a part of yours is something we're incredibly thankful for! To book your wedding date, we will send you an online contract which you’ll be able to sign electronically. Once we’ve received your $750 retainer payment and signed contract, your wedding date will be officially booked with us!

Your Engagement Session
After booking, we love getting to know our clients through an engagement session that helps them warm up to the camera so that they are ready to rock and roll on the wedding day! Once you’ve booked your date with us, we’ll send you our Engagement Session Planning Guide, which covers everything from what to expect, location ideas, outfit inspiration and so. much. more. Think of your engagement session as practice for your wedding day. You’ll become more familiar with how we work as a photographers, which will help you to establish a new level of trust with us. Your engagement photos will be delivered to you in a private online gallery for downloading, printing, and sharing how you please.

Timeline Talk
About six to eight weeks before your wedding date, we’ll send you a questionnaire to fill out regarding the details of your wedding day. Gathering this information aids us in building a photography timeline for your wedding day that helps us stay organized so we can capture the moments that are most important to you!

Your Wedding Day
By the time the wedding day arrives, our clients feel more like friends and that creates a safe and relaxed environment for photography! This is the day for you to relax while enjoying the people around you who have come to celebrate this new season of your lives you’ll be starting together. We're so excited to get to know your families, best friends and those who have shaped you into the people you are today!

Gallery & Album Design
After your wedding day is over, you will receive an online gallery full of all of your wedding memories! HUNDREDS and HUNDREDS of them! We encourage our couples to sit down with a glass of wine the night that their gallery goes live and enjoy reliving their wedding day through their images! Soon after your gallery is delivered, you will receive your album design (if you ordered an album!) and you can begin the customization process!
