A TOD’S POINT ENGAGEMENT SESSION
No matter the time of year, the beach is always a beautiful location for engagement portraits. Rachel and Craig’s coastal engagement session took place at Tod’s Point in Greenwich, Connecticut earlier this week, and I had such a fun time hanging out with them! It may have been 85° and ridiculously humid that day, but it sure looked like fall for Rachel & Craig's engagement session. Despite the muggy heat we had that evening on the official first day of autumn, we did luck out with some beautiful golden hour light and front row seats to a dreamy sunset!
Though I’ve photographed engagement sessions at Tod’s Point in the past, Craig and Rachel brought me to another area of the park that I had yet to visit! It was much less crowded, and we had views of the boats scattered in the water all to ourselves. We were even able to take full advantage of an empty dock which made for a prime portrait location!
THE PROPOSAL STORY
On the night of their engagement, Craig surprised Rachel with a dinner at one of their favorite restaurants. The two came back home to a bottle of their favorite wine and enjoyed a glass together. A few minutes passed when Craig said, "I have something for you," and walked into another room. He came back out holding a ring box and got down on one knee. After a few sentimental words, Craig proposed and Rachel said yes, followed by tears of joy! Afterward, they FaceTimed their families and best friends immediately to share the exciting news.
These two are getting married next October at The Inn at Longshore in Westport, Connecticut! It’s one of our favorite wedding venues, and we know their coastal wedding is going to be an absolute dream. Congratulations Rachel and Craig!!
