Exactly two years ago today I began my first day as a full-time photographer. At my previous job I was the fourth generation to be working at my family's hardware store, and though I loved being part of this family legacy, I realized my heart was in photography and being my own boss in the creative industry! After months of crunching some numbers and a whole lot of love and encouragement from Arturo, I made the decision to pursue my photography career full time. It's been a wild ride and I'm so thankful to do what I love each and every day!

Destination Photography Work Bucket List

Lately, I've myself doing lots of daydreaming about my future plans for my business. In recent months, more and more of these dreams have turned into thinking about how to incorporate more travel into my work life! I've photographed weddings from New England to Florida to Mexico and back again, and have now made it a goal to work with more beautiful couples across the country!

Mr. & Mrs. Diaz | Year Two

I couldn't imagine sharing a life with anyone but Arturo. Just over seven years ago, we met for the very first time. Just after three years of being together, traveling to amazing places, and discovering our mutual love for a good New York City donut, he proposed in Central Park with a flash mob!! Four years after meeting Arturo for the very first time, I was finally able to call him my husband.

Columbia River Gorge

On the morning of my last full day in Portland, Sam and Jon took me on a scenic drive through the Columbia River Gorge. My oh my, was it beautiful! We stopped at three different waterfalls on the way home, each unique and mesmerizing in their own way.

Portland City Sights

I'm not a true ice cream fanatic, but we stopped by Moonstruck Chocolate Cafe where I had the best milkshake I've ever tried! We finished the day at the International Rose Test Garden, one of the most beautiful places in Portland!

Oregon Coast

After a day full of exploring forests, canyons, and lava tubes, we headed west to the coast of Oregon on Sunday morning. Our day was filled with expansive sandy beaches in Seaside, sights of the Pacific Ocean and Haystack Rock at Cannon Beach!
